We arrived pretty late today (around noon) in Cairns (pronounced: canz).

As a special treat, the Viking culinary staff prepared a Bagel Buffet for breakfast and a Taco Bar for lunch.

The included excursion today was a trip to the Cairns Aquarium. I know most everyone has been to an aquarium or two at one time or another, but this place is really well designed and all the exhibits are of fauna native to Queensland. Definitely worth a visit if you come here. There were too many to take notes on all, but maybe you zoology/marine biology majors can identify some of them.

Tomorrow, my first snorkeling adventure ever on the Great Barrier Reef. Say a little prayer for me!
